Buliding Bombs, Breaking Spoons and Watching Exits

So today, I went to help build a bomb.
Yes, a bomb.

Not a real bomb mind you, a test bag, that you occasionally hear mentioned on the news when stuff gets leaked. Got to walk through the inner workings of Terminal C, of course, I had been there the day before, but the uniform office was closed anyways. I would talk about it more, but that's pushing the limits of SSI.

I also broke a small ceramic spoon a woman had in her bag, I was scanning her bag for some water when it just slipped out the side and fell onto the table and the end tip (not the spoon part) broke off. I felt a bit bad, and apologized more then once. It was a small event but I can't help it, I'm a nice guy and I don't want tarnish the TSA's already pretty damaged reputation.

I also got certified to do exits, which is actually a bit more hard then in the AirTran checkpoint, since, one the button is really low, two, the door is a crash bar door, not a automatic door like there is in my home terminal of Delta, and three, it says emergency exit which gets people confused and has them looking for other exits, of which there are none. (Don't blame us, blame the architects who built Terminal C and Massport.)

Quote of the Day (x 9000): "But that's an emergency exit!"
